SOMEWHERE BETWEEN THEN AND NOW
Some places carry memories. For Rhiannon and Tom, their wedding venue wasn't simply somewhere beautiful to get married. It was part of the story.
The old buildings, the gardens, the familiar surroundings everything seemed to give the day a sense of history while they created something completely new.
Starting the day
Rhiannon morning was a mixture of anticipation and excitement.
There were flowers, dresses, final touches and plenty of people trying to keep everything moving.
But every now and then, there was a quiet pause.
A moment to look around, to realise that after all the planning, this was actually happening.
The people around them
Weddings aren't really about two people alone.
They're about the people who helped them get there.
Parents who have watched the relationship grow. Friends who have been there through the good and bad. Family members who travelled to be present for one very important day.
That was particularly clear throughout Rhiannon and tom wedding.

Taking a breath
After the ceremony, rhiannon and tom slipped away for a little while.
They walked through the grounds together, talking and laughing as the rest of the wedding continued behind them.
The photographs from this part of the day weren't complicated.
They didn't need to be.
Sometimes all you need is a couple walking hand in hand, completely unaware of the camera.
The evening
As daylight faded, the venue changed.
The atmosphere became warmer. The lights came on. Conversations got louder and the celebrations continued into the evening.
Looking back, it was easy to see that the day wasn't really about creating something perfect.
It was about creating something theirs.
A day filled with people, places and memories that will mean something long after the flowers have gone.
And perhaps that's the best thing a wedding can be not the beginning of a perfect story, but the beginning of another chapter in a very real one.
